2021 Need to Know Information
In this news article we will provide some need to know information regarding the Bethlehem Swim Team. This information may seem familiar to you as it was sent out to returning members on last Friday, but we wanted to make the infromation available to the public.
- Please take some time to become familiar with our new website. If there is information you feel would be helpful reach out and let us know, otherwise the big item at the moment is our meet schedule for 2021 on the 'Swim Meet Schedule' tab.
- Registration will be all online through the website. We are going to have returning families signup starting March 1. New families will be able to go on April 1. Paid by credit card online or you can still send a check. The breakdown of costs are listed below:
Team Fee- $110/first swimmer, $70/second swimmer, $60/for all other swimmers
Memorial Pool Membership- City resident- $70/ youth, Non-resident- $90/youth (how to purchase pool membership will be included in the registration information and on the facilities page)
- We will not be able to run a snack stand at meets (the city will have their snack stand open). That is okay because we are planning to bring back the "Flocking" fundraiser for this summer!! We will kick that off once the weather gets nice, so stay tuned.
- The team suit will be through D&J Sports- information for ordering will be coming out at a later date and will be online or at the store. Picture of the suit attached. It is not a requirement to purchase the suit and if you choose not to we ask that you try and wear a solid navy blue or black suit at the meets so that you can easily be identified as a Bethlehem swimmer.
- Practice times may vary slightly depending on registration numbers. The below practice times were pre-COVID from 2019 season.:
7:00-9:00 am- all swimmers 11 years old and up
9:00-10:00 am- all swimmers 10 and under
- As a reminder for parents of swimmers who graduated last year, your child is still eligible to swim this season. As a league we voted and felt it only fair to allow them to have a final swim season.
If anyone has any questions, please feel free to reach out.
