IMPORTANT SEASON INFORMATION 2021
FIRST DAY OF PRACTICE: As of now the first day of practice will be TUESDAY, June 15th. If anything changes, we will be sure to reach out and inform you. Due to the number of swimmers this year we have three (3) practice times and they have been broken down by age group.
Practice A: 7:00-8:30am - Swimmers in age groups 13 and 14 and 15 & Over
Practice B: 8:30-9:30am – Swimmers in age groups 11 and 12 and 9 & 10 Boys
Practice C: 9:30-10:30am – Swimmers in age groups 8 & under and 9 & 10 Girls
COVID Update: Bethlehem Swim team will be following the CDC recommendations as well as any requirements set forth by the city of Bethlehem, therefore masks are not required for fully vaccinated people. We will also allow in water instruction to take place and ask all swimmers and parents to self-monitor for any symptoms. If your child has any symptoms, please have them stay home from practice and/or the meet. Please also note that this may change at anytime as well as may be different from pool to pool in our league. We must follow the home pools rules and regulations and if they vary from our own, we will make sure to notify everyone prior to the meet if masks are required.
VOLUNTEERING REQUIREMENT: Each family is required to complete three (3) volunteer slots throughout the season. Type of volunteer activities include timing, stroke & turn judge/starter, zoo-keeper, runner, water cooler duties, ribbon writer, computer person (can be trained), as well as Friday snack provider. Sign up genius for these volunteer activities will be sent out in the coming week. Please make sure you sign up. If your volunteer duty is not fulfilled, you will be charged $100 volunteer fee a the end of the season.
PICTURE DAY: We will be offering a picture day on Friday June 25th during practice time. More information will follow as that date gets closer.
ZOOM MEETING WITH COACHES: As we have many new families this year we will be hosting a Zoom meeting with the coaches to talk about the season and meet them. This will occur the first week of June and a zoom link with exact date and time will follow shortly.
STROKE & TURN CLINIC: Quakertown will be hosting a stroke and turn clinic on 6/14 from 6-6:45pm at Holiday House (801 Washington Ave, Sellersville, PA 18960). Please email Chrissy Hattala to sign-up [email protected]

P.S. If you have not purchased the pool pass for your child please make sure to do that prior to the first day of practice. This is done directly through the city of Bethlehem.
