2022 Bethlehem Swim Team Summer Season

Stingray Board Members

As we are all wishing for summer, I want to bring news of what is to come with the Bethlehem Swim Team this summer.

  • Registration will be all online through the website again this year. Returning families can signup starting Monday, March 7th.  New families will then be able to register on Monday, April 4th.  Registration fees can be paid by credit card online or you can still send a check. The breakdown of costs are listed below:

Team Fee - $110/first swimmer, $70/second swimmer, $60/for all other swimmers

Memorial Pool Membership- City resident- $70/ youth, $80/adult (18&Up) Non-resident- $90/youth, $100/adult (18&Up) (how to purchase pool membership will be included in the registration information and on the facilities page).  Memberships are anticipated to open up in May.  We will notify you once available through the city website.  If your child is a lifeguard they do not have to purchase a pool pass.  The city is looking for lifeguards currently 16 and older.  Please reach out to [email protected] or call 610-865-7081.  You will want to talk to Jodi Evans, Recreation Director, Brandon Hibbler, Recreation Coordinator or Judith Stiles, Recreation Secretary.

Volunteer Fee - $100 – Please note this should not be paid with your registration.  This is only shown and charged at the END of the season if you don’t complete your volunteer requirements.

  • Fundraising – The team will be running a few fundraisers this season.  At this time, we will be running the lottery calendars and 50/50 lottery during the meets.  More information will come as we get closer to the season.
  • The team suit will be through D&J Sports- information for ordering will be announced when registration opens and will be online or at the store.  It is not a requirement to purchase the suit and if you choose not to, we ask that you try and wear a solid navy blue or black suit at the meets so that you can easily be identified as a Bethlehem swimmer.

  • Practice times may vary slightly depending on registration numbers.  The below practice times are the inital times.  If anything changes we will notify everyone:

7:00-9:00 am- all swimmers 11 years old and up

9:00-10:00 am- all swimmers 10 and under (If times shift practice may end time as late as 10:30am for the younger groups.)

  • Meet schedule is listed on the website under the ‘Swim Meet Schedule’ tab.  These are important dates to note as I am sure all of you are planning your summer vacations.
