  1. Swim Practices at Liberty High School: 

Wednesday May 25 -5:30 - 6:30  10 & Under and 6:30 - 8:00 11 & Over

Thursday May 26 - 5:00 - 6:00  10 & Under and 6:00 - 8:00 11 & Over

Wednesday June 1 - 5:30 - 6:30  10 & Under and 6:30 - 8:00 11 & Over

Thursday June 2 - 5:00 - 6:00  10 & Under and 6:00 - 8:00 11 & Over

Tuesday June 7 - 5:00 - 6:00  10 & Under and 6:00 - 8:00 11 & Over

Swim Practices begin outdoors at Memorial Pool starting Monday June 13, 2022:

  • 7:00 - 9:00 13 & Over

  • 9:00 - 10:00 11&12 and 9&10

  • 10:00 - 10:30 8&U

 

      We ask that if parents are staying during practice that they stay in the stands at Liberty or outside the fence at Memorial Pool to avoid distracting the swimmers.  Practices are mandatory on meet days.  It allows the coaches to see your swimmer and know they will be at the meet.

 

    Note that each swimmer has to join the Bethlehem City Pools and have a pass. 

 

* ALL SWIMMERS MUST HAVE PURCHASED THEIR MEMORIAL POOL PASS BY FRIDAY JUNE, 10!!

 

3.  Swim Meets are Mondays and Thursdays and are posted on our website as well as below.  We will be sending out a signup genius to sign out your swimmers if they are unable to be at the meet.  Please make sure to do this as soon as you know to allow coaches enough time to plan.

    Away Meet against Whitehall - Thursday, June 23rd

    Away Meet against Soleco - Monday, July 11th

    Silver Champs Meet - Wednesday, July 20th

    Gold Championship Meet  - Saturday, July 23rd

 

4.  Volunteering:  Each family is required to volunteer for three spots throughout the year.  Type of volunteer activities include timing, stroke & turn judge/starter (must be certified - see below), zoo-keeper, runner, water cooler duties, ribbon writer, computer person (can be trained), as well as Friday snack provider.  Signup genius links will be sent out prior to the first meet.  Please make sure to sign up for your slots.  There is an associated volunteer fee that will be charged if you don’t complete your three spots.

 

5. Communication- email is the best mode.  Coaches email - [email protected] and Board email - [email protected].  Sunday emails will go out each week with the week’s schedule.  If you have an older child that wants to get these emails directly then you can add them to your account as a secondary email.  Mailboxes are used to distribute ribbons and other information that requires physical papers.  These will be located at the memorial pool.  Please have your child check their mailboxes every week.

 

6. Fundraising - We will be doing Lottery Calendars for the month of July to fundraise.  We ask that each family sell a minimum of 5 calendars at $10 per calendar.  More information will come out mid-June.

 

7.  Apparel order has already concluded.  Estimated arrival date of clothing orders in week of June 13th.  Swim Suits can still be purchased through D&J Sporting Goods 7001 PA-309, Coopersburg 610-282-5895.  Availability of the suit will depend on size.  There are certain sizes in stock which you could get the day you order it otherwise it could be a few weeks to get in.  The link to order is on the website.

 

8.  Other Important Dates: 

     Stroke and Turn Official Clinic - June 5th 4pm-5pm

      Pictures - Friday, June 24th - During Practice times exact time TBD

      Team Picnic- Thursday, July 21st - Place and Time TBD
