2023 PMSL Officials Training Schedule

Stroke and Turn training options are offered tonight, Saturday, or Tuesday.

Ref/Starter training options are Saturday or Thursday.

Parents, please consider joining some of our other volunteers as certified meet officials. Don't put this off as the season is around the corner and training options are limited.

PMSL has announced the schedule for online officials’ training for 2023. No need to leave home for these classes! The more certified officials the Sharks have, the more the team can flexible when assigning Shark parent volunteers across events.

Listed below are the training courses being offered this summer. Register at the links provided.

• Participants must pre-register, must have their cameras on (unless allowed to turn off by the instructors during video presentations) and must answer at least 4/5 of the poll questions scattered throughout the presentation in order to get credit for attending the clinic. 
• Participants will then need to take and pass an online, open-book test (information on applying for the test will be presented during the clinic). 
• Note:  You must have been certified as a Stroke & Turn official for at least one year prior to attending the Referee/Starter course.

If you are a USA Swimming certified official, you need to provide a copy of your official membership card (showing the dates for background check, APT, Concussion training and In Good Standing Until dates) as well as a screenshot of your LSC certifications from the "My Official History" on the USA Swimming website (login and go to Officials/MyofficialHistory) to be listed as a PMSL certified official.
