First Practice Follow Up
Wow! Wow! Wow! What a turnout tonight for our first practice. We are really excited about the 2023 season! We have 75 registered Sharks and more on the way.
Practices Times. Because of our limited number of lanes and the large number of swimmers, we will be splitting evening practice into two groups:
5:30-6:30pm 10 and Under
6:30-7:30pm 11 and Up
We know that some families may prefer to have all children in one practice and coaches will certainly be flexible. We encourage those families with children in both age groups to consider attending at 6:30pm.
In-Person Parent Meeting. We will have an in-person team meeting on Thursday, June 1, at 6:00pm at the Pool. At this meeting, we’ll introduce Swim Team Panel members and share information about the season. We shared a lot of information during our online parent meeting, but we thought it would be nice to give everyone an opportunity to meet and convene in person on the pool deck.
Swim Caps. Would you like to purchase a Sharks swim cap? Look for Carla on deck, who will have them available for sale during practice, starting tomorrow.
Opt-Out of Photos? We share a lot of photos on Facebook and Instagram. (Follow us @fwsharks) If you prefer that we do not include your child(ren) in photos, please let Liz Clark know ASAP.
