Shark-a-Thon is just a week away!

SHARK-A-THON

Last year, our Sharks raised an impressive $5,697 during our annual swimathon! Our top individual fundraiser raised a whopping $1,150!

Thank you to those Sharks who are off and running for the 2023 Shark-a-Thon. With only one week to go before this year’s big event, so far we have raised $460.

With more than 50 Shark families and nearly 100 Sharks this year, we are hoping for a grand event!

The swim-a-thon event is the Fort Washington Sharks biggest fundraiser of the year. The funds raised during the swim-a-thon help the Sharks with equipment (e.g. kickboards, timers, starter equipment, and much more), with league expenses (e.g. registration and meet fees), with coaches' salaries, banquet, ribbons, and award expenses, and the many other expenses incurred to run a competitive summer youth swim team. You can see the fruits of recent fundraising efforts with our new lane reel and cover (new for 2022) and the new lane lines (new for 2023).

Prizes will be awarded.
