Meet Our Coaches

Ayanna Fowlkes

We are happy to introduce our Coaching Staff:

David King - Head Coach

Hi my name is David King, I have been a long time Shark since the age of 4 moving through all the age groups and many all star meets. While swimming on the Sharks, I have earned the Steve Kaplan Award in 2018. In addition to swimming for the Sharks, I swam year round with DC Wave High School varsity team, gaining the title of varsity captain. While in high school we earned the title of County and Regional champions, ending my swimming career battling at the Maryland State Championships. Outside of swimming I have earned my Eagle Scout Award in 2018. Also, I am an alumni of Oxon Hill High School, Science and Technology Program.  I have just earned my Associates Degree in Business Administration from Prince George's Community College and am currently enrolled at the University of Maryland. I am looking forward to coaching this summer with the team that I grew up on, while also seeing the swimmers grow as I did. I'd like to thank everyone for this learning opportunity and will give the team my best effort. Once a Shark always a Shark.
