Welcome to the 2024 Sycamore Creek Country Club “Stinger” Swim Team.  We provide a fun-filled swim experience where children of all ages will learn and refine the four (4) swim strokes.  The team is open to all member’s children and grandchildren.  We will compete in local SSA League swim meets in a relaxed environment.  This year’s season will begin with practices on Tuesday May 28 and end with a banquet on Sunday July 11.  Being part of the Stinger Swim Team is a great way to make new friends, exercise and receive the many benefits swimming has to offer.

Daily practices are offered, but are not mandatory as we realize summer is a busy time with vacations and other commitments.  Practices are scheduled four days a week from 9:00 AM to 10:50 AM Monday through Thursday.  See the Swim Groups tab on the main menu for times and age group information. The cost for the 2024 season is $200 per child billed to your club account. 

A swim team completely relies on parent involvement.  We ask each participating family to take responsibility in helping fill volunteer positions throughout the season.  Each family is expected to sign up for 2 swim meet job slots. To do this, go to the Events tab and follow the directions. 

When your swimmer arrives at the meet, they will receive a slip of paper with their event, heat, and lane assignments.  Bullpen/Lane parents will help write this information on their arms.

• We encourage all swimmers to sit together at a swim meet.  Parents are responsible for making sure their swimmers are on deck and ready to go for their event; this will help the Bullpen/Lane parents better manage the swimmers.
• Please encourage your swimmer to see their coach after swimming their event(s) for feedback.
• The swim meets are fun for parents and swimmers.  Please encourage other family members to come and watch your children swim.
