The City of Ballwin hosts a swim and dive team every summer. This fun recreational league caters to swimmers and divers ages 5-18 years. We provide friendly competition between neighboring communities while focusing on learning, team work, sportsmanship, and most importantly FUN!
We strive to promote a positive and fun environment for swimmers and divers. The Ballwin Blue Dolphin Swim and Dive Team is a recreational team with an emphasis on developing basic competitive skills. Swimmers and divers, ages 5-18 years, are welcome to participate. We welcome all skill levels on our team. Please note that swim team is NOT a substitute for swim lessons.
Our team requires a swim test for all new members to be able to swim 25 yards continuously on their own, no assistance. This is a safety precaution for our swimmers. All new swimmers (including siblings of returning swimmers) are required to participate in a swim test. New swimmers will be required to swim 25 yards (one length of the pool) unassisted with constant forward movement. The swimmers may not stop and/or grab the wall or lap lane while taking the test. We do not expect your swimmer to have a perfect stroke. These steps are taken for safety precautions. We want to ensure your swimmer is able to meet the minimum needs for practices and swim meets. If unable to complete the required swim test a full refund will be given.
The pre-test will take place on Sunday, May 3, 2026 at 10am at The Pointe at Ballwin Commons.

Registration for the 2026 season opens Wednesday, April 1, 2026. All registration must be done in-person at The Pointe Front Desk. Please register by Sunday, May 10th for a guaranteed t-shirt size.
Registration Details:
1. If you are a resident of Ballwin, please ensure your resident ID card or membership is up to date to receive VIP rates. Resident ID cards must be renewed every year and you must provide proof of residency.
2. All families must provide 3 checks for $150 each made out to "Ballwin Swim and Dive Team" for the volunteer check hold system. Registration WILL NOT be processed until checks are provided. You can buy out of the volunteer shifts for $450 for the season. If you do not fulfill your 3 volunteer shifts, we will cash the checks at the end of the season.
3. Fill out all required paperwork and provide payment for participants at the time of registration.
4. Set up your account on team unify and Coach Blakeleigh will approve new accounts weekly after registration and volunteer checks are confirmed.
