POOL MANAGER POSITION OVERVIEW
Haddontowne Swim Club is seeking a Pool Manager for the 2024 season. Preferred candidates will have experience in commercial pool management operations; however we are willing to train motivated candidates. All candidates should have excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills. Preferred candidates will have general management experience, Lifeguard, CPR, CPO certifications. The Pool Manager will work closely with, and be supported by, an Assistant Pool Manager. This is the perfect summer opportunity for a school teacher!
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise and work closely with Assistant Pool Manager.
- Schedule Assistant Pool Manager and Lifeguard work schedules.
- Oversee recreational groups that rent pool.
- Monitor pool chemical levels.
- Answer phone calls to the front desk.
- Manage the snack bar.
- Manage the front desk.
- Manage party rental calendar.
- Check-In members and guests entering the club.
- Supervise Lifeguards.
- Foster the development of a positive team among lifeguard staff.
- Maintain a clean and safe facility for members and guests.
- Maintain open communication with the Board of Directors.
This position will receive a tremendous amount of support and training from experienced Board Members and volunteers who are vested in seeing our new Pool Manager succeed!
