2025 Volunteer Letter/Details
Commitment
- Each family commits to 15 hours of volunteer hours when registering for the team.
- 6 hours out of the 15 MUST be completed at a swim meet.
- Each family new to the team must attend at least one information session or new family orientation.
- Volunteers must check in at the volunteer table or the front office before each shift.
- Volunteer spots for all events up to May 31st open on April 22nd.
- Volunteer spots for all events after May 31st open on May 30th.
- Volunteer spots close 48 hours prior to the volunteer date.
- What happens if I can no longer volunteer?
- Volunteers MUST contact the lead for that volunteer shift (can find that here) and communicate that they can no longer work the shift.

Champs Weekend
If you have one or more swimmers in Champs, you must complete at least two volunteer shifts at Champs, except: If your swimmers are only swimming one day at Champs, you only need to do one shift;Hours worked at Champs do not count toward the 15-hour per-season family commitment.
Penalty
- There is a $50.00 no show fee applied to the families account for not showing up to a volunteer shift without finding a sub.
- Families will be charged $500 for not completing 12 hours of volunteer hours.
- Families will be charged $200 for not completing Champs hours
Process
- To sign up for volunteer hours, simply go to the Meets & Events area, click the "Job Signup" button for any event, and find an open slot.
- To check how many hours you have left to work, go to the Service Hours page in the "My Invoice/Payment" section (you will need to sign in to the site if you have not already done so to view this page).
- Any exceptions to the volunteer requirements must get approval from the volunteer coordinator Shelly Lagrande
