2025 Erlton Diving Update

The Erlton Dive Team is ready and excited to welcome back divers for the 2025 season. Coach Sean Courtney will be returning as head coach for his 25th season!  Our preliminary schedule for the season can be found below.  We are welcoming new divers, no experience necessary.

 

Weekdays May 27-June 20

*Practice will be held Fridays

 

Afternoon practice 6:30 to 8 pm

 

 

Weekdays June 23 to July 25

 

Morning practice 8:30 to 11:30AM - practice times are flexible to coordinate with swim team practice. Plan to come for at least 1 hour.

*Evening practices TBD but we are hoping to schedule weekly for extra practice, kids attending camp, etc

*This meet is for divers that have not yet qualified for the 1-meter or who are trying to Qualify for a Junior Olympic score

1-Meter Championships @ Wedgewood

 

Uniform swimwear is not required but if desired can be ordered through the link provided by the swim team

To register a dive team member, please complete the following:

  • Register online through Team Unify form and submit your payment of  $65 per diver (or $55 if the diver is also a swimmer.)
  • AAU insurance

>>> Divers that are competing in a dive meet MUST have AAU insurance completed before the dive meet.  If it is not done before the meet, the diver CAN NOT dive. 

* * Please email or bring the AAU card to the Coaches or Rep * *

To register for AAU Insurance: 

1.   go to https://play.aausports.org/Default.aspx

2.   Login or create an account

3.   Following creation of your password, Purchase An Athlete Membership

4.   Select NEW MEMBERSHIP (or MANAGE MEMBERSHIP for already registered divers)

5.   Select Youth Athlete Membership

a.    Select Diving, Regular - $20, Current Membership Year - EXPIRES ON 8/31/2025 (there is an option for a 2 year membership if you want)

b.   Are they a member of a club? YES

c.    Enter W39E55, Select Find Club (Your club: 2025 - South Jersey Diving Association)

d.   Enter DIVERS information

e.    Select option (Yes or No) for Captain U

f.    Agree to the Terms and Conditions - Digital Signature

g.   Enter YOUR name at bottom of form

h.   Select Continue and complete Checkout process

Photos on Web site: Parents and guardians of athletes who do not want their image on the website should make their representative aware.  While their club diving representative will make every effort to ensure those athletes are not pictured on the website, it is the responsibility of the parent or guardian to periodically check the website to ensure that photos have not been inadvertently posted to the website.  The parent can then contact their representative, coach, or SJDA officer to request removal of the image from the website
