Hi! My name is Konrad Plomedahl, and I am very excited and honored to be coaching for the Piranhas this season! Here is a little summary about me and my swimming career:

I have been swimming competitively since 5th grade. I started swimming for the Sun Prairie Piranhas when I moved here in 7th grade. I swam a total of six years with the Piranhas. I also swam four years for the Sun Prairie High School Swim and Dive team. My junior and senior year I was captain of the High School team, and in my senior year I qualified for state in four events (200 medley relay, 200 free relay and 400 free relay, and 100 fly). For my college career, I swam three years as a member of the UWEC Swim and Dive team. I was on the Conference team each year, competing in the 50 free, 100 free, 100 fly, and 200 fly. I was team captain in my last season.

This will be my 10th season as a coach for the Sun Prairie Piranhas. My other coaching experiences include three seasons with the Sun Prairie Storm, two seasons assisting the Eau Claire Marlins, one season assisting DFAC, and for many seasons I served as the Head Coach/Program Manager for the Sun Prairie Mini Piranhas program. I was an Assistant/Head Coach for the Sun Prairie High School Girls Swim and Dive Team from 2018-2022, and I was an Assistant/Head Coach of the Sun Prairie East High School Boys Swim Team from 2018-2023.

I am very proud of my accomplishments as a swimmer, and I am even more proud of, and thankful for, the teams I had the privilege of being a contributor of. I hope that I can help all swimmers this season gain the same sense of pride in swimming as I have.

Hello! I was once a piranha myself and have so many fond swim team memories. Last summer (2022), was my first summer coaching piranhas and I had so much fun getting to know the swimmers and being a part of their swim team experience. This year I was a freshman at Wartburg College, where I was a part of the cross country and track team, and I am getting my Elementary Education degree. I am so excited to have another summer filled with fun and making memories! 

Hello! I'm Elaina but you can call me Lanie. I was a competitive swimmer for 6 years, with Piranhas being my first swim team. I am getting my social work degree at UW Green Bay and have been working in aquatics for 8 years now. I am so excited to coach this summer!

Hi my name is Kaitlynn Neuman. I am about to start my senior year at UW Madison! I swam for about 10 years competitively and now I have turned my fitness to lifting and recreationally swimming but I still am very passionate about swim. I will be returning as the 11-12 lead and am excited to coach 9-10s and 8 & unders this year!! I can’t wait for a great season! :)

Hi! My name is Maeve Sullivan, I just finished my first year at the University of Iowa studying radiation sciences. I have been a Piranha and have swam competitively since I was 5, and I am thrilled that I get to continue to be a part of the program as a first year coach for 8 and under, 9-10, and 11-12s!

Hi! My name is Joss Hoffman. I was a Piranha for 11 years, but this will be my first season as a coach. I am so excited!

I have swum competitively since I was 8, on Piranhas, Sun Prairie Storm, and DeForest High School, where I was a captain my senior season. Currently, I am part of the Lake Forest College swim team, where I swim the 100 backstroke and 100 butterfly (and the occasional 200 IM)! My love for this sport began with the Piranhas, and I am excited to share that with the swimmers!

Hey, I’m Sam Zander a junior at UW-La crosse.

I was a Piranha for 9 years and started swimming when I was 9 years old. I also swam on Sun Prairie Storm for 6 years and all 4 years of high school. Last summer I helped coach Storm and taught swim lessons. Backstroke is my favorite stroke. 

Hi my name is Avery Lodahl! This will be my first year coaching Piranhas, Im am very excited and honored to coach this team. I swam on Piranhas every year since I was 8 years old, so I am very excited to give back to the community and coach the team I loved. I just graduated college, and finished up my final year of swimming at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Before my time at Eau Claire I swam for Sun Prairie (east) for 4 years throughout highschool career. I love all of the freestyle events but if I had to choose one it would probably be the 100 yard freestyle. I will be coaching the 15-18s as well as the 13-14s this year. I cant wait to have a great season and coach everybody this year!
