Dolphin News: Welcome Dolphins and New Families to our 2024 Dolphin Season

Dolphin Fans,

Welcome Returning and New Dolphin Families to the 2024 PVC Dolphin Season! Our 2024 Season will be April 23rd thru July 20th.  Practice will begin Tuesday, April 23rd for New Dolphins and 6 and unders.  On Monday, April 29th, Practice will begin for all Dolphins.  Schedule is posted on Team Unify "Practice Times." Training is Monday thru Thursday until summer break. During the summer we will continue training in smaller dolphin groups.  Benefits is even more individualized training, lane buddies/wall buddies, and potential for more swimmers to be a #1 swimmer in their lane.  Most Dolphins will train in their age group, while others may train where myself and coaching staff feel their Dolphin Talents will most excel. Training is offered 4 times a week per age group.

PARENT MEETING/SWIM SUIT TRY-ON: Mark your calendars, Parent Meeting will be held at PVC on Saturday, April 28th @ 9 am.  Meeting should last 60 to 90 minutes. Swimmers and families will have time to ask questions and meet the coaches.  New Families and Younger Swimmers Families are strongly encouraged to attend.  Families will hear an overview of the season, meet/training commitments, volunteer commitments, Dolphin Apparel, and Dolphin Team Suit Try-on.  We understand that all families will not be able attend and will have other opportunities for Dolphin Team Suit Try-on.

Check it out today, it is open, ready for purchase, and full of Dolphin Gear and Bling.  Each swimmer needs a practice suit, 2 pair of goggles, a pair of fins for training, and lots of Dolphin Spirit.  We have PVC Dolphin Team Caps for purchase at practice/meets.  We will also have other ways of purchasing Dolphin Bling throughout the season so keep an eye out. Attention New Swimmers/6 and unders Families: April 23rd thru April 25th all new swimmers and 6 and unders will be assessed.  We are looking for all swimmers to safely get across the pool with something that looks like Freestyle with no breaks.  This is to ensure your Dolphin is ready to safely take the next step to swim team.  It will also serve as a great way to meet and greet new Dolphins.  Please get your Dolphin in the water a few times before April 23rd as confidence is the key to your Dolphin's success.  Swimmers do regress from year to year, especially at the younger age, Truct ME.
