Welcome to Indian Valley Swim Team!

IVST strives for a balance of competition, sportsmanship, friendship and loads of fun. We believe the goal of summer swimming is to help kids develop a life-long love of swimming.   Whether you are a beginner or experienced racing champion our instructional approach with world-class coaching provides opportunities for success at all-levels.  Coaches will be on deck providing continuous instruction, positive feedback and encourage all swimmers to do their best in every practice and race.  ​

There is also a long history of tradition and pride at Indian Valley Swim Team. Our swimmers are consistently reminded that integrity, sportsmanship and respect for other swimmers and coaches create the foundation for a strong team, and even stronger individuals.

IVST has been a vibrant part of our community and the Walnut Creek Swim Conference for nearly 50 years. Every summer, we compete against our fellow WCSC teams – Dewing Park, Larkey, Rudgear Estates, LMYA, Walnut Creek Swim Club, Woodlands and Walnut Heights – in a dual swim meet format. Special invitational meets and dual meets with other neighboring teams complete our summer schedule.

As a team, we depend heavily on the support of parent volunteers to ensure that all swimmers and families have a fun and rewarding recreational swim team experience. Our team could not operate without parental support!

How can I become a member of IVST?

You will need to join the swim club or pay splash fees and pay the team registration fees below.
 

Club Membership or Splash Fees (Paid directly to Indian Valley Swim Club)

1. Join the Indian Valley Swim Club and enjoy the club's facilities and events all year long. Annual dues are $950. There is a $300 work party deposit. The work party deposit rolls over from year to year, as long as you fulfill your 4 hour work commitment.

2. Trial membership for first year families to join. Discounts are available for senior families or families with only 15-18 swimmers on the team. For more information on Swim Club pricing contact [email protected]. 

2025 Swim Team Registration

On-line Registration is now open.

All fees for the 2025 season, as well as any past due fees from the Team or Club, must be received before the start of the season, April 2025. A cancellation fee will be charged and any cancellation requested 15-28 days after the season start date will only receive a 50% refund and will include any additional fees. All cancellations after 30 days will not be refunded.
