New swimmers (Non-resident) - Registration for new swimmers who are NOT Woodridge Park District residents will begin on April 18th, 2025 in person at the ARC.

*New swimmers must register in person and are required to bring in a valid Birth Certificate for proof of age. Resident new swimmers will have priority to register before nonresident swimmers.

To secure your spot on the team you must turn in the following:

  • Registration Form

  • Payment to the Woodridge Park District for the program

  • A separate check for $60 per family ($70 for 3 or more swimmer families), made payable to the Woodridge Swim team for parent association dues. This fee is required prior to registering for swim team and can be sent/turned into the Park District with your registration.

  • Be sure to read through the Parents Handbook and the Behavior Guidelines as well. (when you sign up on this site after registration you will agree to them)

Registration will be taken on a first come first serve basis.

New Swimmer Test date:

All new swimmers to the team will be required to attend a swim test date in order to keep their spot on the team. They will need to swim a minimum of 25 yards of freestyle and backstroke. Children 9 years and older will need to be able to swim a minimum of 50 yards of freestyle, backstroke and at least working toward a legal 50 breaststroke and butterfly. This is to ensure swimmers will be safe in the practice environment, however our goal is to keep and build the skills of all swimmers who have a desire to be on the swim team.

Please email [email protected] with questions.

  • Swim Evaluations will be at Cypress Cove the first week of practice during the swimmers practice time.
  • USA swimming times can used in place of evaluations
