Coaching Staff
Jessica Schoonmaker Head Coach

Jess swam through high school and into college. Her first job out of college was as an assistant aquatics director where she started and coached a masters swim team. Life pulled her away from the water for a while, but the draw of the pool is stronger than the pull of life for her. Her family moved from Washington state to Maryland in 2022 for her to coach the YMCA Blue Crabs for a season, then at Merritt as a substitute coach (still does this in fall and winter). Now she is excited to be part of the Five Oaks Team!
