Tracie Stewart | Head Coach

- Tracie is returning after a great season as head coach in 2023! Tracie has been an elementary school teacher the past 20 years. She has experience with swimming and the pool environment since she was 11 years old. She was offered a full swimming scholarship to YSU, but ended up attending Mount Union College where she focused on breaststroke and freestyle. She won the conference in the 200 breaststroke during her junior year.  She met her husband at a collegiate swim meet, got engaged, and even took her wedding pictures at a pool!  Tracie is joining us for her third year coaching AESC and we are excited to have her back! She also has previous experience coaching four teams including work as an assistant coach for the Amherst summer recreation team, as well as head coach to the Avon Lake Swim Team.  She feels it is important for kids to learn all four strokes while having fun in the summer rec team.
