The New Canaan Aquianas (NCA) was founded in 1977 and moved to New Canaan from Bedford, NY in 1980. The Aquianas has a membership of over 55 swimmers, making NCA one of the largest artistic swimming programs in the country. Over the years, 34 Aquianas have been named to a US National Team. Five NCA coaches have been invited to coach a National Team - four were also swimmers on a National Team. The New Canaan Aquianas is a non-profit club under the support of the New Canaan YMCA.
