Head Coach : Allie Buytendorp

Hi everyone! My name is Allie, and I’m thrilled to be the Head Coach for the Fox Point Swim Team this summer! I’m originally from Cary, Illinois, and a proud graduate of Cary-Grove High School (Class of 2021). My passion for swimming started when I was just six years old, and I continued competing through high school with the Barrington Swim Club under Coach Rob and Coach Chris.

I recently graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee in May 2025 with a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and a minor in Nutritional Science. During my time at UWM, I was a student-athlete, competing in Division I swimming and diving for all four years. This fall, I’ll be returning to UWM to begin my Master’s in Clinical Exercise Physiology, with plans to pursue a PhD in either Exercise Physiology or Pharmacokinetics in the future.

I bring a wide range of coaching experience to the team, including working as a swim instructor at Dolphin Swim School in Crystal Lake and with the Ozaukee Aquatics USA Club Team in Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin. I’ve had the joy of coaching swimmers from just 2 months old all the way to 18 years old.

I’m beyond excited to lead the team this summer and can’t wait to help our swimmers grow, improve, and—most importantly—have fun in the water!
