A Long Tradition
Over 2000 boys and girls from our community have participated in Miami Rowing Club’s youth program. Since rowers can race at the Novice, JV, and Varsity levels, there are races for all levels of rowers at the regattas.

The program is funded by individual contributions from rowers’ families, fund raising, and sponsorship from local businesses. No child is turned away from our program for financial reasons.

Opportunities exist for rowers who do not have any experience in the sport of rowing to achieve a level of proficiency which will attract coaches from colleges and universities around the country. Many of the Youth Program rowers have received scholarships as a result of being recruited. Our Youth Program coaches have competed and coached
