Gators Slash Times at Mon Valley Meet

On January 7th, the Gators met up in Mon Valley with the Mon Valley Sharks, the Baierl Sharks, and, for the first time, the massive Sampson YMCA swim team out of Plum. 

Overall, the Gators cut 105 seconds of previous swim times. 23 swimmers established personal bests in 46 event entries, and our swimmers finished in the top 6 in 22 events.

“This was one of our best showings we’ve had, in terms of improvement across the board, personal bests, and being a competitive swim team. I was thrilled,” said head coach AJ Thomsen.

Shout-outs to these Gators who were especially on a tear and set new Gator team records or qualified for the District meet.
