Summer 2023 Orientation and Season Details

The summer swim season is just around the corner! Please take note of the important details below.

Come learn about what to expect for this fun season. Attendance by at least one caregiver is mandatory at the orientation, including returning swim families. Following the orientation, the new leaders of the Parent Organization will hold their first meeting. All are welcome to stay and participate. 

 

CLAWS Squad (beginner and intermediate swimmers) - 6:00 - 6:50 M, T, Th
JAWS Squad (advanced swimmers) - 6:00 - 7:45 Monday-Friday (Wednesdays start with dryland)

 

Swim Fit is a new option for families who want the health and social benefits of an organized swim team without the competitive element. Swim Fit members are welcome at all swim practices and receive the same training as Swim Team members, but do not compete in Dual Meets and do not need to satisfy a minimum practice requirement. They are held to the same standard for behavior and focus as Swim Team members, and are eligible to participate in clinics and friendly meets. 

 

 

Please invite anyone interested in becoming a Gator (must be able to swim a pool length of freestyle and backstroke) to attend orientation and practice the first week to give it a try (no registration necessary).
