Successful Start at JAG for Coyotes
The Coto Coyotes opened today's June Age Group (JAG) Championship Meet at the Splash Aquatic Center in La Mirada with a strong start. Top performances included Paige Pratt who swam to consols in the 200 free and also medaled in the 800 free with a 6th place finish. Kellie Fecarotta earned 16th in the 200 free, and 12th in the 200IM while Max Walsh raced to a top 16 finish in his 200 backstroke. The 800 free appeared to be the Coyote's race of the day with Aaron Magazine medaling in 7th place and his brother Jerod swimming strong to 15th. Eric Stahl also swam an incredible 800 free dropping 10 seconds and finishing in the top 16 for 15-18 year olds. The Coyotes ended the day with 33 points currently in 15th place in a field of over 50 teams. Check back tomorrow for updates as our 12&unders swim their first day of the meet!
