SMRT Grand Prix #3

While one group of swimmers was ripping it up in Charlotte, another group of Riptides was doing the same at the SMRT Grand Prix in Charleston.

Eleven swimmers and Coach Justin traveled to Charleston for more great swimming and an impressive 100% personal best times!  Additionally, there were far less dq’s at this meet than at previous GP meets for the Riptides meaning that our young swimmers are learning their skills.

Noah Cruz led all swimmers with a 29-second drop in his 50-free.  "Wonka" Lewis improved over 20 seconds in not one, but two events, 100-breaststroke and 500-freestyle.

Joining Noah and "Wonka" in Charleston were Mackenzie Angwin, Gabriel Blythe, Noah Carter, Connor Churchill, Noelle Cruz, Zary Gouin, Jack King, Sean King and Quinna Muthard.

There remains one more GP Series Meet before the Championship in February.  Congrats on a job well-done to all our swimmers.
