USA-S National Rankings, Top-25 All-Time - UPDATED!

Kingsley Tops in the Nation!
The Myrtle Beach Riptides swimming team is proud to announce that Megan Kingsley (Conway Christian School, Carolina Forest resident) earned 12 national top-10 ranked swims for 2008-09.
 
As a 12-year old, Kingsley was ranked 2nd in the nation in the 500-yard freestyle, 100-yard butterfly, 100-yard Individual Medley; 3rd in the nation in the 200-yard freestyle, 200-yard backstroke, 200-yard butterfly and 400-yard IM; 4th in the 1000-yard freestyle; 6th in the 100-yard backstroke; and 9th in the 100- and 1650-yard freestyles.
 
Kingsley re-wrote the 11-12 year state records, setting 9 of the eighteen state records at the 2009 SC Swimming Short-course State Championships.  Six of her new records was also a NCSA Junior National qualifying time.
 
Kingsley’s final top-10 nationally ranked time is in the 200-meter butterfly as a 13-year old.

This Just In... Kingsley Among Best in HISTORY!
The Myrtle Beach Riptides swimming team is now proud to announce that Megan Kingsley has placed on USA-Swimming’s Top-25 All-Time list.  This list is compiled of the 25 fastest times, by age-group, in each event in history!
 
This list includes past and present Olympians and world-record holders such as Mary T. Meagher, Janet Evans, Jenny Thompson, Katie Hoff and Elizabeth Biesel, just to name a few.
 
As an 11-12 year old, Kingsley is ranked #6 in the 200-yard Butterfly, #12 in the 200-yard Backstroke, #13 in the 400-yard Individual Medley, #20 in the 200-yard freestyle, #21 in the 100-yard IM, and #22 in the 100-yard Butterfly.
 
In long-course meters (Olympic-sized pools), Kingsley is ranked #15 in both the 200-meter Butterfly and 400-meter IM as an 11-12 year old.
 
 
Kingsley is the only swimmer from the Grand Strand to qualify on the Top-25 All-Time list.  This is a great achievement not only for Kingsley, but for the entire Myrtle Beach Riptides organization .
