2013 College Conference Champs - Update

From Athens, GA...

Lauren Campbell (GA Southern) competed in the "B" finals of the 200 backstroke and 200 butterfly on the last night of the CCSA Championships.  Campbell bettered her prelim time in the 200 backstroke to another personal best 2:03.89 and 10th place.  In the 200 butterfly, Campbell 2:07.17 and finished 14th overall.

On the other side of the USA in Monterey Park, CA...

Keenan Lineback (USD) won the 1650-free in a blistering time of 16:39.04.  The win was Lineback's second for the meet and also set a new University of San Diego school record.  Later in the evening, Lineback swam the 200 butterfly to a 2:02.57 and 6th place finish.

UPDATE: Congratulations to Keenan who was named 1st Team All-MPSF Conference in the 400 IM and 1650-free and 2nd Team-All MPSF Conference in the 200 Butterfly!  This is the second year Keenan has received such honors.

Congratulations to both of our young ladies.  They definitely have inspired future Riptides to become just as successful.  We are proud of Lauren and Keenan!
