MISSION
The Mission Viejo Nadadores program is dedicated to providing opportunity and encouragement for all of its swimmers to make an uncompromised commitment to the pursuit of excellence and, through the process of striving to be the best that they can be, to acquire life enhancing attributes such as integrity, discipline, teamwork and sportsmanship.

HISTORY

In 1968 when the Nadadores team was formed, it was comprised of 25 swimmers who competed in local events. In 1974, the Nadadores women won their first National Championship title. Since that time, the Swim Team has produced 101 Olympians, 113 Olympic Medals, 26 World Records, 151 National Individual Champions, 95 American Records and more than 200 Academic All-Americans.

In 1992 ownership of the Nadadores passed from the Mission Viejo Company to the Mission Viejo Nadadores Foundation which oversees both the team’s swim and dive programs. The foundation is run by volunteer parents who dedicate hundreds of hours on a monthly basis to the sports of swimming and diving.

MVN Team Uniforms:
MVN's official team uniforms and caps are mandatory for all swimmers to wear at competitive swim meets. Swimsuits are made by our sponsor, TYR, and can be purchased from the MV Pro Shop (www.mvproshop.com). You may wear appropriate training swimwear of your choice for daily workouts.
