About AQUAZOT Swim Club

Mission

The Aquazot Swim Club is designed to meet the needs of all ages and levels of competitive swimmers in a safe, healthy, and positive environment.  We take pride in teaching swimmers the skills and techniques they will need to maximize their potential both in the pool and in other areas of their lives.

Accomplishments

Since its inception in the spring of 1999, the Aquazot Swim Club has built one of the premier swimming programs in America.  Aquazot has qualified swimmers to compete in local, regional, national, and international swimming competitions, including the Olympic Games.   Many Aquazot swimmers are included in the top-10 age group times in the United States each year.  At the 2004 Olympic Trials, Aquazot had its first swimmer make the USA Olympic team, Kristen Caverly, in the 200 backstroke.  Aquazot has been recognized as a 'Gold Medal' Team by USA Swimming 7 of the past 8 years.  We have been able to accomplish all this because of our excellent staff, dedicated volunteers, and dedication and hard work of our swimmers.

Philosphy

The philosphy of the Aquazot Swim Club is:

  1. Fun – Provide a fun environment where athletes of all ages and abilities can enjoy the sport of swimming and further their personal goal.

  2. Fitness – Provide an environment where fitness levels will always be challenged and where individual health and wellbeing is placed above all else.
  3. Form – Provide proper instruction on form and stroke mechanics to ensure all athletes learn at their individual progression and avoid injury from improper technique.

  4. Fast – Placing all other components of Aquazot’s mission above results. Knowing that speed will only follow proper technique, fitness and underlying fun of competition, while encouraging our athletes to do their very best in achieving their goals.
