USA Swimming REQUIRES the following items to be completed to volunteer as an official:

Athlete Protection Training (Can only be done after you are a member, once registered in the system)

SC Swimming REQUIRES the following items to be completed to volunteer as an official:

Attend a SC Swimming Stroke and Turn Clinic or Admin Official Clinic (no cost)

Complete the Stroke and Turn or Administrative Official Apprenticeship.

SC Swimming Officials uniform:
-
White collared shirt Official Shirt with SC-LSC Logo (Username: SCLSC Password: 1234)

Navy pants, shorts, skirts or skorts
-
Predominantly white tennis shoes
Once your membership is registered in the USA Swimming database, email your completed apprentice forms to the LSC Officials Chair for review. When your certification is granted, you will receive an email with your certification card. This card and your USA Swimming membership card are required to be presented at any meet you work. As an alternative, you can show proof of certification through Deck Pass from your USA Swimming account. Click here for Deck Pass Instructions.
