10th Annual KPI Recap
Kyle Parker started working for The City of Madison at the age of 15. After attending college at Auburn University he moved back home and was hired as Madison City Aquatics Director in 2011. He played a major role that year in obtaining automatic defibrillator donations for Dublin Pool and oversaw the installation of equipment for its’ disability access. He developed a new swim lesson program accessible for citizens with disabilities as well as developed the orientation and training program for the city’s seasonal lifeguards.
His memory lives on in photos, the lives he touched, and every person who dives into the pool.
As we hosted our 10th Annual Kyle Parker Invitation, we had a tremendous amount of success.
MSA achieved 45 Southeastern Qualifying Times (or Bonus), along with over 550 Personal Records! After this weekend, it also appears we should have over 25 athletes who have completed their IMXtreme Challenge by USA Swimming! This is a wonderful achievement as it shows the versatility of the athletes and the ability to adapt and challenge themselves!
Thank you all for making such an incredible meet happen. We really stepped up and came together to host one of the best meets ever. I have been receiving calls and emails from coaches and parents from the other teams bragging about the energy we had, how happy everyone was, and what a great environment we created for the athletes! Several teams even opted to come to our meet instead of their Region Championships because of the energy and love we bring!
Congratulations to all!
GO MSA!!!
