Meet Format:

3-Day Timed-Finals Meet for 10&Under

3-Day Prelim-Finals Meet for 11&Over

*1650 will run as Timed-Finals on Thursday night fast to slow alternating female and male heats (combined ages)

*11-12 will bring back Top-10 into Finals

*11-12 Relays will swim in Finals Session

*13&Over will bring back Top-20 into Finals

Team Gear:

Please wear a regular or tech suit and goggles.  If you choose to wear a swim cap for competition, it must be a MSA swim cap.  Coaches will have additional caps available at the meet that can be billed to your account.  Let’s really do our best to look like a team by wearing our MSA Team Shirts

 

Heat Sheets:

Heat Sheets and other meet info will be added to the events page as I receive them. Finals Heatsheet will usually be posted around 3:30PM.

If your swimmer wishes to have their events written on them, please do so before arriving at the pool for each session.

 

Additional Notes: IMPORTANT

  • If you make Finals, you are expected to compete in Finals. Failure to do so may result in being barred from your next swim or fined

  • We will plan to take a picture on Saturday in the lobby following warmups

  • Concession stand has gone cashless

  • No parents allowed on pool deck unless they are acting as a counter or timer for their swimmer (500, 1650)

  • Heatsheets will be posted to the website as I receive them and also added on Meet Mobile

  • All events (Prelims and Finals) will swim in 10-Lanes on the flag end of the pool. Window side of the pool should remain open for warmup/cooldown needs

  • All parking will be on-site. The small parking lot and large back parking lot are available for general parking. Additional parking is also available on the far side of the lake as well as throughout Braham Spring Park on the other side of Drake Avenue

  • First Place Athletics will be onsite for all swim apparel needs

  • Athlete locker rooms are located just off competition pool deck as well as near the instructional pool

 

Remember, all swimmers, parents, and coaches are representing MSA so let’s put forth an excited and friendly demeanor.  We encourage parents and friends attending the meet to sit together to help support our athletes together!
