Good luck to the 8&U as they approach their Championship meet this weekend at Region 3! 9&Up Good Luck at Region 3–whether this is your Championship meet or last chance to qualify for SES–all your MSA coaches look forward to coaching & cheering you on to reach your goals for this MSA season!

Now for a few Region 3 announcements:

The meet is now COMBINING the 10&U in one 10-lane pool for the afternoon sessions. It will only add 30 minutes and allow for more recovery between swims.

PLEASE wear an MSA cap (from this year) and this years team suit, blue/black suit, or tech suit. No tie-back suits allowed.

There will be MSA relays for 8&U, 9-10, & 11-12

There are awards 1st-8th place for individual events and 1st-4th place for relays
-
Meet results and accurate timelines should be updating in the “Meet Mobile” app. A projected timeline is now under the event on our webpage as well.

Time Trials will be held at the discretion of the meet director & meet referee if time allows.

10&U is a timed-final, 11&Over is a prelim-final format

WARMUP TIMES:
Warm ups are broken down by time and team, but not by lane, we will swim during our time-slot. Please be on time.-
Friday PM: 4:00-4:50pm warm-ups with a competition start at 5:00pm. Open warm-ups.

Saturday & Sunday AM (11&O): 7:30-8:00am warm-ups with a competition start at 8:30am.

Saturday PM (10&U): 11:55-12:20pm warm-ups with a competition start at 12:30pm.

Sunday PM (10&U): 11:30-11:55am warm-ups with a competition start at 12:30pm.

Saturday & Sunday Finals (11&O): 4:00-4:50pm warm-ups with a 5:00pm start. Open warm-ups.

Practice Schedule (2/3/25-2/9/25):
**There is still practice Friday & Saturday for those not attending regionals**
White: T/TH 3:30-4:30PM. T/TH indoor.
Yellow: M/W/F 3:30-4:30PM. M/W outdoor, F indoor.
Blue: M-F 3:30-4:30PM. M/W indoor, T/TH/F outdoor.
Bronze: M-F 3:30-4:30PM. M-F indoors.
Silver: M-F 4:30-6:00PM. M/W/F/Sat outdoor, T/TH indoor. 8:00-10:00AM Saturday Practice.
Gold: M-F 4:30-6:30PM. M/W/F indoor, T/TH/Sat outdoor. 8:00-10:00AM Saturday Practice.
**For those in Gold group tapering & attending regionals: M&T pick-up at 6:30pm as usual. W-F will be a 5:45pm pick-up.

April 12: BSL LCM Invitational (Birmingham, AL. All MSA groups welcome. Gold group is attending this meet, not Scottsboro)
April 12: Scottsboro Sprint Medal Meet (Scottsboro, AL. All MSA groups welcome. Gold attending BSL LCM meet)
May 17-18: HSA LC Invitational (Huntsville, AL)
July 18-20: LC Southeastern Championships (Huntsville, AL. Qualifiers only)
