GPAC kicked off the new year with its annual Winter Invitational held at UWF aquatic center January 12-14. Out of the 128 swimmers that competed, 121 of those swimmers achieved at least one personal best time, amassing over 57% best times for the team. GPAC named Bronze Medal Club for 2024 GPAC earned USA Swimming’s Club Excellence Bronze Medal club designation for 2024 announced by the national governing body this week. Southeastern Swimming announced this week its annual list of All-Star swimmers for 2013-2014, and eleven GPAC swimmers were among the best in the LSC. This is the most swimmers GPAC has had on the All-Star roster in four years, and ties the all-time high from 2008 and 2010. In its annual list of who’s who in swimming and academia released this week, USA Swimming has named GPAC’s Tatiana Oberley and Nate Thomas to the Scholastic All-America team for 2013-2014. Tatiana, 16, is a junior at Pensacola Christian Academy and swims with Coach Phil on the Senior team.
