RAQ Impresses at the RSD All Ages BC Meet in Solana Beach

RAQ traveled over to the coast this weekend with almost 30 swimmers and had numerous impressive performances.  Our 8-under contingent (Aaron Boytsov, Kassandra Ferrer, Ethan Luo, Dalu Wang) had several great swims each and won multiple ribbons in the 25 yard sprints.  New swimmers Faith Eisold, Solana Gregg, Bella Nieblas, Sienna Sweeney, and Brodie Wickham also earned several best times each.  And our senior swimmers Svara Jayasinghe, Katya Mucino, Osher Philip, and Tahlia Philip all earned top 8 finishes among their swim.

A special shout out to Charley Partridge for earning her first Age Group Championship cut in the 50 Fly, among 6 best times (in 6 events).  That is 2 meets in a row where each swim has been a best time.  With continued hard work, this could be the start of a fantastic short course season for Charley.

Finally, thank you to the parents that volunteered as timers and officials.  It is greatly appreciated that you step up every time so that RAQ does their part to make the meets a success for all of the swimmers in the LSC.
