RAQ traveled over to the coast this weekend with almost 30 swimmers and had numerous impressive performances. Our 8-under contingent (Aaron Boytsov, Kassandra Ferrer, Ethan Luo, Dalu Wang) had several great swims each and won multiple ribbons in the 25 yard sprints. New swimmers Faith Eisold, Solana Gregg, Bella Nieblas, Sienna Sweeney, and Brodie Wickham also earned several best times each. With almost 40 swimmers attending, RAQ traveled down to Poway and kicked off the 2025-2026 swim season at the Freestyle Festival. There was a lot of excitement in the morning session, where we had over 30 participants - several of whom were making their competitive swim debuts. In the afternoon, we had a small but fast contingent competing. Multiple swims earned SCAGC (short course Age Group Champs) qualifying times, with Andrew Homer earning his first ever cut.
