The Redding Swim Team (Aqua Ducks) is a long-standing, year-round competitive
swim club in Redding, California, serving swimmers from beginners to masters athletes.
Led by Olympic swimming legend Matt Biondi, inducted into the United States Olympic
Hall of Fame in 2004, the Aqua Ducks pair a commitment to competitive excellence with
a fun, supportive, family-like culture. Our coaches take pride in developing not only
strong swimmers, but confident athletes, great teammates, and a lifelong love of the
sport through high-level training and Swim Safe instruction.

Position Overview
We are seeking an energetic age group coach to lead advanced and intermediate
swimmers ages 5 - 14. This is an excellent opportunity to join a rising program and help
shape its culture.

• Hours: ~ 15 – 30 hours per week
• Meets: ~ 1 weekend per month
• Compensation: Competitive based on experience
• Responsibilities
  • Plan and lead practices for age group athletes
  • Develop swimmer’s technical skills and training habits
  • Foster a positive, motivating, and inclusive team environment
  • Collaborate frequently with coaching staff to align goals
• Preferred Qualifications
  • Current USA, swimming coach certifications (may be completed once hired)
  • Enthusiastic, hard-working and motivated team player
  • Strong communication, organizational, and administrative skills
  • Passion for developing swimmers of all ages and abilities
  • Knowledge of current technique and training methods
