The Future Champions program is a learn to swim class directed towards beginning swimmers 3 - 8 years old.
Class description:
- Student / teacher ratio =4 / 1 or 6/ 1
- Classes held in Shallow end or lanes at the IF Aquatic Center
- Classes are 45 minutes 2 days a week.
- Sessions will be 6 weeks long (or 12 classes).
- Classes are $105.00 per session ( there is a $30.00 USA Swimming registration fee for your first class of the season annually)
- There are multiple class options each session
- Focused on creating a fun and energetic learning environment.
2023 - 2024 Sessions: Registration opens 1 month before the start of the session.
Session 1: September 11th - October 19th
Session 2: November 27th - January 16th (no class December 25th - January 1st)
Session 3: January 22nd - Febuary 29th
Session 4: March 12th - April 18th
Session 5: DATE CHANGE May 21st - June 27th
Session 6: Short Session July 9th - August 1st (4 weeks = $75.00)

Session 5 Times:
Tuesday / Thursday at 2:30 PM (3 - 6 year olds)
Tuesday / Thursday at 3:15 PM ( 3 - 6 year olds)
Tuesday / Thursday at 4:00 PM (4 - 8 year olds, can put head under water)
Tuesday / Thursday at 4:45 PM (5 - 8 year olds advanced/ coaches approval required)
* Classes are subject to cancelation if we do not get enough registrations.
Group Requirements:
- 3 - 8 years old
- Able to listen and follow directions
- Must be potty trained
Group Goals:
- LEARN TO LOVE THE WATER
- Blowing bubbles and putting face in the water
- Floating on front and back
- kicking on front/ back/ side (assisted and unassisted)
- Jumping into the water (assisted and unassisted)
- Sitting Dives
- Freestyle and backstroke basics
