Mark Parshall Swim Coach/Owner

I have been coaching swimmers of all abilities over 30 years. It all started with Masters and a few age-group swimmers at St Edwards University. Living in Round Rock, and the commute becoming longer, I started coaching at Micki when the pool first opened.

Living in Round Rock since 1983, my wife Ann and I, raised three outstanding daughters. All three swam for me with the Dolphins, RRHS, and Aquatex. Marcy swam for Incarnate Word, Casey and Corey attending A&M.

I am very passionate about swimming, and truly believe in the way a swim team should be run. I am not perfect, have, and will continue to make mistakes. However, I will always be upfront and honest about my views, and hope to learn from my mistakes, and will continue to take risks, just as I ask of my swimmers.

A team that believes that traveling to swim meets and places like the Olympic Training Center, or Boston for college tours of Harvard, MIT, Boston College, Tufts, etc. is just as important, if not more so, than how fast you swam at a particular meet.

The opportunity to swim at the collegiate level, even if you decide that is not the path you choose to follow.

I look forward to many years of working with our community’s kids, their parents, being involved in their lives, to hopefully have a positive impact, and be someone they remember for the rest of their lives.
