Due to the change in procedure of awarding FL sanctioned meets, as voted on at the 2012 FL House of Delegates, October 7, 2012, the following procedure will be followed for the 2014 Florida Swimming Spring FLAGS and Spring Senior Championship meet bids: On January 31, 2013, bids for the 2014 FL Spring FLAGS and Senior Championship meets are due to the Florida Swimming office (attached). The Florida Swimming Top 10 Yards lists have been posted for the 2012-13 season.  The lists can be found here.

Several changes have been made to the Florida Swimming website to make navigation, and information easier to find. Changes: Clubs:  Club search, and links are now in one place and visible from the menu bar. Athletes: Athlete pages and information updated, and easier to find from the front page. Coaches: Coach infromation, regarding certification, and information is now visible from the menu bar with direct links to important pages relating to coaching. The first wave of background checks will expire in January 2013. The cost for renewing a Level 1 or Level 2 is $19.00. There is a new link for renewing background checks. It is the same for Level 1 and Level II. People who want to renew and who don't use that link will pay $39 for a Level 2 check. Refunds will not be an option. You may renew early, but the new background check will expire 24 months from the month in which you do the renewal check,...
