The first wave of background checks will expire in January 2013. The cost for renewing a Level 1 or Level 2 is $19.00. There is a new link for renewing background checks. It is the same for Level 1 and Level II. People who want to renew and who don't use that link will pay $39 for a Level 2 check. Refunds will not be an option. You may renew early, but the new background check will expire 24 months from the month in which you do the renewal check,...
