The 2800 member clubs of USA Swimming are the foundation of the historic success of our Olympic efforts.  Through the dedication of nearly 350,000 athletes, coaches, club administrators and volunteers, the American club system of swimming has become the model of development for other Olympic sports. The inaugural Sunshine State Conference Swimming Championship will be hosted February 17-20, 2011, at the YMCA Aquatic Center in Orlando, Fla. Five institutions will vie for the first ever SSC swimming titles, as Florida Southern College, Nova Southeastern University, Rollins College, Saint Leo University, and the University of Tampa will participate in the event. If so, you might be eligible for USA Swimming's Scholastic All-America Team!       Each year, USA Swimming recognizes its members who excel both in the classroom and in the pool. The Scholastic All-America Team is made up of high school student-athletes who have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher and who have achieved the required time standard in a single event.  TeamUnify, a provider of team management services, has been named a preferred provider for USA Swimming, the National Governing Body for the sport of Swimming.  USA Swimming has announced the swimmers named to the 2010-2011 USA Swimming National Team. The roster features a total of 94 swimmers, including Olympic gold medalists Ryan Lochte, Rebecca Soni, Michael Phelps and Natalie Coughlin.   Swimmers were chosen for the USA Swimming National Team based upon their times in Olympic events at the 2010 at the ConocoPhillips USA Swimming National Championships and the 2010 Mutual of Omaha Pan Pacific Championships.
