Purpose: This is the annual general membership meeting for Texas Swim Association. The 3 standing committees will make reports on the status of their committee work for the last year. We will also decide on the future of the TSA organization. If then necessary the body will elect new officers.

a. Continue with current structure; elect new officers; contact IRS to reinstate non-profit status
b. Dissolve the current TSA; adopt the original bylaws; Elect officers; start application for non profit
c. Dissolve the current TSA; Have TAGs Committee become a stand-alone organization with new bylaws and officers.
d. Dissolve the current TSA; Divide funds in the TSA account between the 5 LSCs as described in the current bylaws.
6. Elections based on decision from New Business if needed.

• Review of time standards
o Revised time standards to reflect what was in the water. Capped at Sectionals Cuts from the previous year.
Relay times were not changed.
o Discussion of, no vote was taken. Relay entries: Force all relays to enter as aggregate.
– no changes pending new entry system from USA Swimming (SWIMS 3.0)
o Review relay times toward getting at least 3 full relays per event.
Motion: Mike Anzano, moves to make relay cuts slower and committee to sort out details. Tom seconds.
Passes 5 for/1 against. Mike Anzano will form committee – Tom and Chrissy are helping
• Dates for long course 2023 – July 26-30, 2023 Tom moves to approve dates, Aubrey seconds. 6 for/ 0 against.
• Dates for short course 2023 – March 2-5, 2023 hosted by MARS in Lewisville (run starts off the bulkhead, not facing stands)

o Northside bid for LC 2023 6 for/ 0 against
o MARS bid for LC 2023
o Lakeside bid for LC 2023
• Update TSA webpage and TAGS records file – Propose to TSA that a paid position be created.
o Paid person be TAGS Committee chair, with 1 member from each LSC providing accountability. Mike Anazano
moves create TAGS Admin position paid through TSA, accountable to the TAGS Committee. Shanna Trabona
second. 5 for/ 0 against, Tom abstained from vote. Tom is the most likely person to take on the role as paid TAGS
committee chair. LeAnn will step down as soon as this step is put into place. LeAnn will take the lead in creating a
small committee to design job description, and compensation plan.
• Questions about hosting meet at Lewisville for short course, is there a way to move it to another facility and still have MARS
host if the new air handling system is not installed prior to SC TAGS.
