
Open swim is a great opportunity for you to bring your swimmers in for extra pool time and have some fun!
These swim times are open to the public, ALL children and adults in the community.
Open Swim cost is $2/swimmer or Punch Passes are available 10 punches for $20

OPEN SWIM GUIDELINES

- There is a maximum of 30 swimmers allowed in the pool area available on first come first serve basis. After the limit is reached, signs will be posted that open swim is full and will not allow anyone else to enter the pool area. We advise that you arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled pool time.

- Open Swim check-in starts 20 minutes before the scheduled pool time. Please do not arrive earlier than 20 minutes.

- There is a lifeguard on duty at all times during open swim.

- Any swimmer under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult in the pool area. The adult does not need to be in the pool if the swimmer can swim strong and independently.

- When arriving at the pool, use the entrance off of Cedar Road for the high school, go in Door #14, take a right and the locker rooms are down the hall on the right.

- All swimmers are required to check in at the desk before entering the pool area.

- Swim diapers are required for any swimmer not potty trained.

- Locker rooms may be used for changing. Swimmers should note that these areas are not sanitized until the end of the day and should use at their own risk.

- Personal belongings are not allowed on the pool deck and should be kept in the locker rooms or with an adult outside of the pool area.

- There is no running on deck or running and jumping into the pool at any time. This is a huge safety hazard. If swimmers run on deck or a running jump into the pool they will be asked to leave the pool.

- Other items such as toys, balls, ect are not allowed. The exception being any swimmer under age 6 that needs assistance in the pool may bring their own COAST GUARD APPROVED floataion device. Examples include puddle jumpers that strap around the chest and life jackets. Inflatable water wings and floataion devices that they sit in are not allowed. Your floataion device should say “coast guard approved” on it and will be checked at the desk at the time of check in.

- Pool noodles are available for use during open swim times. Any rough housing or incorrect usage will result in removal from the pool.

- Diving from the board is available at the discression of the lifeguards. Diving from the sides of the pool or diving blocks is prohibited.

- Flips, Jumps and other unsafe motions from the pool edge are prohibited. There is also no jumping in the shallow end of the pool.
