. USA collegiate championship season is here.....dates, locations and links to result The 6 university championships in the USA are this month, and after this weekend half will be done. In general, the meets get faster as the month progresses; however, each meet is the final meet for the division to which it corresponds. Doha organizers gearing up for 2014 FINA Short Course World Championships LAUSANNE, SWITZERLAND--A delegation from FINA visited Doha, Qatar earlier this week to review preparations for the 2014 Short Course Worlds. FINA Development programme 2013 kicks off in Bermuda The first clinic of 2013 was organised by the Bermuda Amateur Swimming Association in Hamilton from February 19-23, 2013. Swimming expert Mancer Roberts from the Bahamas conducted the clinic for 17 enthusiastic swimming officials (intermediate level). The five-day course focused on duties of officials and various positions on pool deck (timekeeper, clerk of course, referee, starter, inspector of turns, stroke judge, finish judge, etc.). Both theory and practice sessions were held.
