FINA announces 2013 Junior World Swimming Championships to be held in Dubai LAUSANNE, SWITZERLAND--FINA today has posted in its "Events" section that 2013 Junior Worlds will now be swum in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Dates for the competition are to be confirmed for this new host. Originally, the 2013 Junior Worlds were awarded to Casablanca, Morocco. Earlier this month, FINA removed references to Casablanca being the host from the Event subsection of its website. FINA begins updating caps & goggles on "swimwear" list LAUSANNE, SWITZERLAND--Following yesterday's potential activation date (November 15), FINA today (November 16) has posted updates to the Approved Swimwear list. The additions appear to be only for caps and goggles, in line with FINA's recent memorandums allowing 2013 caps and goggles to begin being used yesterday. UANA Technical Open Water Swimming Chair Conducts Officials Clinics in Cayman Islands I was invited by the Cayman Swimming Federation to visit and provide two Open Water Officials clinics and one coach’s clinic.
