Our mission is to promote a safe and active lifestyle for children in the sport of swimming by expanding the opportunities in Brevard County.
Swim Melbourne Foundation Inc. (Federal Tax ID#: 83-3069291) was established in 2018 as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, tax-deductible nonprofit corporation. It is organized for the purpose of helping fund Swim Melbourne swim teams by purchasing training equipment, supplies, helping fund our state, regional and national swimmers and many other expenses to help keep the Swim Melbourne swim team as a highly successful program for swimmers in Central Florida. Our goals:
- Kickstart Brevard’s water safe swim culture through a comprehensive swim development program
- Provide a home to Swim Melbourne’s Lessons, USA Swimming swim team, and Masters swim team
- Provide meets, clinics, and events to attract families to swim in Brevard County
- Provide medical pool therapy plans for local health organizations
- Provide ocean safety support and drowning prevention education to Brevard County
- Offer the community a variety of ways to engage swimming into their lifestyles
