Swimmers at the Boys & Girls Club of Northern Westchester Shine After Qualifying for NY State Championships
Mount Kisco, NY – The Boys & Girls Club of Northern Westchester is proud to announce that five Marlins swimmers, Natalie Lovig, Kelsey Grayson, Elisabeth Knuth, Abby Hehman and Hannah McMullan have qualified for the state championship after outstanding performances at the October 25 meet.
These young women, members of the Club’s Marlins swim team, captured top finishes at the recent meet where they represented their school and club with pride.
- Natalie Lovig: All league qualifier, 100-yard Backstroke, 200-yard Medley, 400-yard Free Relay
- Kelsey Grayson: All league qualifier, 200-yard Individual Medley, 100-yard Fl, 200-yard Medley Relay, 400-yard Freestyle Relay.
- Elisabeth Knuth: 100-yard breaststroke
- Abby Hehman: 100-yard Backstroke
- Hannah McMullan: 200-yard Medley
The meet, hosted by Fox Lane High School, marked the team’s fourth consecutive victory, improving their season record significantly and showcasing the depth of talent within the program.
“Watching all these ladies rise to the occasion and earn qualification for states fills us with immense pride,” said Marlins coach Mike Travers. “Their commitment to training, teamwork, and perseverance reflect the very values we instill in our members across all our core program areas: Character & Leadership, Education & Career Development, Health & Life Skills, Arts & Social Recreation, and Sports, Fitness & Recreation.”
The state championship meet is scheduled for November 21, 22.
