Northeast Swimming Club Mission Statement

The Northeast Swimming Club’s mission is to provide a competitive swim program that supports athletic and personal development.  Our team offers an environment to build sportsmanship, character, skills, friendships, health, and equal opportunity for all swimmers.  Our goal is to develop mentally strong and confident kids who can carry the tools of the sport into all areas of their lives.

NSC Core Values

In alignment with our team Mission, NSC strives to promote and embody the following core values:

Character – Perseverance – Integrity – Sportsmanship – Dedication

Practice Schedule & Groups

Practices begin in October and end in March. Training and expectations vary depending on each swimmer's age and level. When practices need to be adjusted or canceled, an announcement will be sent.

Coach Anthony determines the practice group swimmers will be in for the season.  These are based on ability level and space.  Practices are Monday-Sunday at Richboro Swim Club under Frank J. Lichtner Aquatics Pavilion 750 2nd St Pike, Richboro, PA 18954

Practice Attendance

Coach Anthony and Coach Randy set expectations for practice attendance:

White: minimum of 3 practices per week:

Orange: minimum of 4 practices/week

Black: minimum of 5 practices/week

Practice Rules

  • Practices are closed to parents.  Please respect that even a quick conversation on deck with Coach Anthony disrupts practice and time away from instruction.
  • Swimmers should arrive 10-15 minutes early to practice to allow time to get ready to enter the pool when their practice time begins. Arriving late disrupts other swimmers and Coaches.
  • Remain in the pool area during practice times
  • Be respectful of pool equipment and property
  • Lingering on the pool deck is not permitted. Swim during practice times and leave when practice is over. For siblings waiting during other practice times, conduct is expected to follow US Swimming rules.
  • During practice times, swimmers are expected to follow instructions and be respectful to Coaches and teammates in and out of the water.
  • Swimmer’s cell phones are not permitted at practice

Meet Rules/Expectations

  • Swimmers must participate in meets to be part of the team
  • Swimmers do not have to participate every day of every meet, but the expectation is regular participation to improve performance and achieve individual goals
  • Meet registration is done electronically in advance through Team Unify
  • The season meet schedule for this season is included in the parent handbook
  • The team will sit together at meets and represent NSC appropriately
  • Swimmers will wear the team suit and an NSC team cap

Championship Meets

Qualifying times for Mid Atlantic Junior Olympics, Senior Champs, Silver Champs, and other meets will be posted and distributed to parents.
