Coaches and Directors

Mathew grew up swimming for North Shore Swim Club and Lexington High School where he won 2 State Championships and multiple All-Scholastic Honors. He attended and swam for Indiana University where he was also an assistant coach for the Bloomington Swim Club. Mathew then had a small stint in Masters swimming where he competed at Masters Nationals with New England Masters. Mathew coached for NSSC for 1 year and he decided he wanted to complete one of his life goals and compete at Olympic Trials. After training for 9 months with NSSC he was able to record a personal best and make it to Omaha to compete in the 100 butterfly at the 2012 Olympic Trials. As well as being a level 2 USA swimming certified coach, Mathew is also a certified personal trainer. Coach Mat will continue to bring his knowledge and love of swimming to the next generation of swimmers as well as those continuing to better themselves in the Masters Swimming population.
Coach Ann is a former swimmer at Belmont High School and continued to compete at the collegiate level at Springfield College and is well connected in the local area of high school sports and US Swimming. Ann is currently coaching Lexington girls and boys high school swimming and previously coached at Lincoln Sudbury High School for over 12 years, and continues to coach North Shore Swim Club age group swimmers. Amongst other credible accomplishments she has also been involved in coaching the Minuteman Masters Swim Team for 10 plus years and she had an opportunity of a life time to live in Tokyo Japan for a year and worked as a sports instructor at the Tokyo YMCA. During the spring season she is the head coach of the Lexington High School girls varsity tennis team. Ann spends summers working at White Pond in Concord.
Outside of the aquatics world, Ann enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 children doing various activities such as snowmobiling, hiking, baking and photography. Ann has a fondness of animals as the family has 3 English Mastiff's names Timber, Diesel and Chipper.
